Step 1:
Mark a cutline 1/2" from the edge of the tunnel.

Step 2:
Cut the stock running board off on the cut line using a grinder with aluminum cut off wheel or a saws all.

Step 3:
Cut the suspension bracket off flush inside edge of the big hole. These brackets are here to stiffen up the stock running boards. Zero snow running boards do not require these.

Step 4:
Clean off all the cut edges

Step 5:
Cut the metal piece out of the foot well. Do not cut the aluminum bracket off the tube that comes around the bottom of the running board.

Step 6:
Secure the running board in place using clamps, be careful not to scratch them up

Step 7:
Using a  3/16 drill bit,drill through one of pre-drilled holes at the front, back, and center of the running board. Riveting these 3 holes to secure the running board in place, using supplied rivets with backing washers.

Step 8:
Using a  3/16 drill bit,drill the remaning pre-drilled holes on the running board.

Step 9:
Using an air rivet gun or a hand rivet gun, attach the boards to the tunnel, using supplied rivets with backing washers.


Step 10:
Clamp the foot well brace to the running board. Drill from the bottom side up through the holes on the foot well using a  3/16 drill bit.

Step 11:
Attach foot well brace with two rivets.


Step 12:
using a  1/4" drill bit, drill a hole in the back of the tunnel (see red dot) and attach the back of the running board to the top the tunnel using 1/4" nut and bolt.
